Ana Firmato
Ms. Firmato has over twenty years experience in corporate finance, with a focus on international banking products. Prior to joining Innovatus Capital Partners as a full time consultant in April 2019, Ms. Firmato was a Managing Director in the Brazil office of Crecera Trade Finance (Latam Trade Capital) and was responsible for origination, execution and restructuring commodity finance structures in the Brazilian market. Prior to Crecera, Ms. Firmato was a Partner in the Debt Advisory group at KPMG in Sao Paulo, Brazil where she advised Brazilian corporate clients in debt transactions, M&A and restructuring. She oversaw a team of twelve while at KPMG. From 2010 to 2014, she was a Managing Director, Head of Trade Finance at INTL FCStone in the Investment Banking Division where she coordinated cross border debt transactions within commodity finance. Prior to INTL, Ms. Firmato was a Senior Vice President of structured trade and commodity finance at Banco Standard de Investimentos where she was responsible for origination and structuring of structured trade and commodity finance transactions in the Americas. From 2004-2010 she was a managing Director in the Brazil office of DF Deutsche Forfait do Brasil where she was responsible for origination in the Brazilian market for commodity finance structures. Ms. Firmato was a Vice President, Head of Debt Execution and Distribution at Standard Americas Inc. from 2001-2004. Previously, she was an International Banking Officer at Banco Itau in New York, where she coordinated all trade finance transaction from 1997-1998.
Ms. Firmato received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Federal University of minas Gerais – Brazil and is a CFA, Level 2 candidate. She is currently completing post graduate work at Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul in Finance and Investment Banking.
