Georgia Carreira
Ms. Carreira has over 15+ years in commercial real estate asset management, acquisitions, and loan origination across core, core plus and value add real estate investments in all primary asset classes (retail, office, multi-family, industrial) for global institutions and private investors. Prior to her commercial real estate specialization, she spent 5 years in technology and process improvement at various businesses across GE Capital including GE Real Estate, earning a Six Sigma Black Belt certification through leadership of multiple strategic initiatives across GE Real Estate’s global platform.
Ms. Carreira joined Lincoln Property Company, Commercial Inc. in July 2020. In her role at Lincoln, Ms. Carreira is 100% dedicated to the real estate strategy at Innovatus, focusing on asset management of the portfolio of office real estate. Prior to joining Lincoln, Ms. Carreira was Vice President of Asset Management at DLC Management (2014-2020), a private owner/operator of open air retail shopping centers. She was brought on board to establish the function of Asset Management, overseeing approximately $1.5 billion of AUM and 12 million of square feet across all institutional joint venture and third party managed relationships. Investment strategies ranged from core-plus to value-add with heavy redevelopment and lease up for assets across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest and Southwest U.S. regions. From 2011-2014, Ms. Carreira was a Senior Associate Director at Allianz Real Estate of America, closing over $1 billion of commercial mortgages for retail, office, medical office, & multi-family asset classes on behalf of life and property/casualty clients. From 2000-2011 Ms. Carreira was at GE Capital where she started in an information technology leadership program, rotating across multiple commercial finance businesses. The 2-year rotational program was followed by 3 years leading strategic initiatives, pairing process improvement and technology to implement global solutions across GE Real Estate. In 2005 Mrs. Carreira transitioned into an acquisitions role at GE Real Estate, originating common and preferred equity joint venture investments and underwriting over $3 billion of open air retail shopping centers across the U.S. Following the economic crisis in 2008, she moved into Asset Management, managing properties across all primary asset classes.
Georgia earned her B.S. from Syracuse University and a Master of Science in Real Estate Finance from New York University, graduating with Distinction.
