Michele Barcellos

Ms. Barcellos has over twenty years experience in corporate and investment banking having worked in several areas among which credit risk, structured trade & commodity finance, and M&A. Prior to joining Innovatus Capital Partners, Ms. Barcellos was a VP in the Structured Credit Division of Hemisfério Sul Investimentos (HSI). Prior to HSI, Ms. Barcellos was a Credit Specialist in the Credit Recovery Department of Bradesco bank. Prior to Bradesco, Ms. Barcellos was a Senior Credit Officer in the Corporate Risk Division of HSBC Brazil. Prior to HSBC, Ms. Barcellos was a VP in the Investment Banking arm of INTL FCStone. From 1997 to 2011, she worked in the Brazilian branches of the multinational banks ABN Amro and Santander, initially and for almost ten years as Senior Credit Analyst, and afterwards as Product Manager in the Structured Trade Finance Division, where she had the opportunity to develop its acknowledgement in cross border debt transactions within commodity and export credit agency finance.

Ms. Barcellos received a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Cândido Mendes University, a postgraduate degree in Financial Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and holds a lato sensu MBA in Finance from IBMEC school.
